| Studying culture can be very interesting to those in an art history major. They'll be learning about culture through various art forms, like paintings, sculptures, and more. It is through these paintings of the past that art history majors develop an analytical eye. Art history programs will teach students how to analyze a painting for its features, but also to understand what the artist was thinking at the time it was painted because all works of art reflect the time in which they were created. It is art history majors that will gain important skills that can be used at any job, including critical thinking, writing, and research skills. |
